Joey Erwin Mazzera is a licensed Acupuncturist with the state of California as well as a Diplomat of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine with the NCCAOM. Joey received her Master’s Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from The American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco. Clinical experience includes rotations at California Pacific Medical Center in the stroke and traumatic injury recovery department, The Jewish Home for the Aged, and ACTCM Community Clinics. Joey comes from an integrative health care background including 9 years of bodywork experience focusing mainly on hospice/oncology and addiction issues. She currently volunteers for the Sutter Hospice and VNA in Emeryville and also works as one of the Acupuncturists at The Bayview Wellness Center; bringing progressive and free healthcare to the underserved residents of San Francisco. Advanced studies include Constitutional Facial Acupuncture, acupuncture for the elderly, and TCM addiction support. In the off hours Joey enjoys crafting, thrift store hunting, traveling with her husband, doggies, and being Auntie Joey.
